Swift Health direct bills ICBC and WorkSafeBC. For ICBC claims, occupational therapy is arranged by speaking with your ICBC recovery specialist — usually after a health-care provider recommends it — while treatments like physiotherapy and kinesiology are pre-approved for the first 12 weeks on your claim number. We also work with extended health plans and private-pay clients. No doctor’s referral is required to see an occupational therapist privately in BC.

Occupational therapy is not one of ICBC’s automatically pre-approved treatments. It is arranged by speaking with your ICBC recovery specialist, usually after a health-care provider recommends it. Swift Health direct bills ICBC once OT is approved.
