Kinesiologist-guided exercise to rebuild strength and function after a motor-vehicle or workplace injury. We direct bill ICBC.
Support for the emotional side of recovery, pain, stress and adjustment — available in-clinic and online.
Home-safety and modification assessments to help you stay independent, including support for the BC Rebate for Accessible Home Adaptations.
Workstation and job-site ergonomic assessments for home and office workers across Richmond to reduce strain and prevent injury.
Objective evaluations of what a person can safely do — often used for return-to-work planning and insurance claims.
Getting to appointments after an injury is hard. That is why Swift Health is mobile-first: our occupational therapists and kinesiologists come to your home, workplace or community anywhere in Richmond — Brighouse, Steveston, City Centre, Hamilton and beyond — as well as seeing clients in our Cooney Road office. You choose whichever is easier for you.
Swift Health direct bills ICBC and WorkSafeBC, and can invoice extended-health and private-pay clients. If you have been in a motor-vehicle accident, active rehabilitation, kinesiology, physiotherapy, massage, chiropractic, acupuncture and counselling are pre-approved by ICBC for the first 12 weeks with just your claim number. Occupational therapy is not on ICBC’s pre-approved list — it is arranged by speaking with your ICBC recovery specialist, usually after a health-care provider recommends it. We are happy to help you navigate this.
