Sunny Dhesi is a Kinesiologist at Swift Health. He works on his own caseload as well as training new kinesiologists.
Sunny has been involved in health care and rehabilitation throughout his professional career having worked in hospitals, clinics and private gyms for Fraser Health, WorkSafeBC and various Kinesiology companies.

Sunny graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree with a specialized concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation. He is also a Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist, receiving his certification from the American College of Sports Medicine.
Inspirations | Motivations
Sunny is inspired by his parents and grandparents who came to Canada in the early 90s to build a better life. Sunny’s mother is a breast cancer survivor and her strength has motivated him to always move forward without fear. Sunny uses these inspirations to always be positive with his clients and motivate them to use each session to improve their lives.
What Led Them Here
Sunny’s passions in sports and health care led him to pursue a career where he could make a difference in the day to day lives of people. Sunny’s path at SFU started in sciences before focusing on kinesiology and injury rehabilitation. Sunny worked in clinical rehabilitation for elderly populations in university and found that work to be very rewarding. Sunny continued on from there to work with all populations from children to seniors regain control of their bodies and lives through a commitment to rehabilitation and exercise at Swift Health.
Sunny loves all things sports from playing them in real life to attending events and even video games. He loves to travel, eat and spend time with his friends and family.
