Ergonomic Assessments & Education

Occupational Therapy

Swift Health offers an ergonomic program which includes on-site assessment of office or home workstations. We offer one to one and group training available to prevent injury and improve efficiency. Our clients include medical clinics, IT departments, beauty salons, and landscaping companies. Our ergonomic program ergonomicsis provided by certified occupational therapists.

Often, your company’s ergonomic needs are not being fully addressed.  The results could cost you thousands in time off work, health benefits and affect your company’s bottom line. Additionally, we only use occupational therapists (OTs) for our assessment to insure the highest quality. OT’s have an MSc in the subject matter.

Services may include:

  • Workstation modification
  • Employee education on topics including safe lifting techniques and body mechanics
  • Simple exercise for relief and prevention

Our process:

  • Workstation and activity assessment
  • Workplace education
  • Post-program follow up

Testimonials

The ergonomic assessment provided by Swift Health was through and provided some great suggestions to support our team member. The report was detailed and gave both behavioural and engineering recommendations, and ideas on how these could be implemented. Katie, our OT, was responsive, kind, and  a great subject matter expert. We are very pleased with our first experience with Swift Health!
